Mocah’s Beauty was originally established in March 2004, created by Carmelita Richardson—Mother and Cosmetologist, and named after her two children, Mycah and Morgan. It was a two station salon in the Northside neighborhood of Providence Park, located in Richmond, Virginia.

In the time that has passed since the formation of Mocah’s Beauty, Carmelita has gained the knowledge of natural remedies through her studies as an Herbalist.  With this knowledge, she has learned to create formulas from natural ingredients that promote hair growth and retention, as well as improve skin and scalp ailments, such as eczema and dandruff. These products are made from natural, edible ingredients and can be safely used by men, women, and children.
